Calling All Change Agents. NO WASTED DAYS.
Arc’teryx is rooted in a love for the mountains, and respect for the connective power of outdoor spaces and experiences.
Since starting in Vancouver in 2018, our community grant program has been designed to boost community-led initiatives to make outdoor spaces and activities more welcoming to more people.
The No Wasted Days Community Grant program is designed to support people who’ve traditionally faced barriers to getting outdoors - whether cultural, racial, financial or otherwise - leading to underrepresentation or exclusion.
The Community Grant program, through the outreach and connections of our retail stores, has grown to impact 22 regions, speaking three languages, in four countries around the world.
In 2024, grants lifted up the efforts of 85 grassroots organizations and individuals. 79% of the projects were led by people who identify as Black, Indigenous or People of Colour.
We are excited to invite applications for the 2025 No Wasted Days Community Grants.
THE PROGRAM
From April 2-30, 2025, the Arc’teryx No Wasted Days Grant Program 2025 is open to local, grassroots individuals and organizations actively working to increase access for people who have traditionally been excluded from the outdoors. To support this work Arc’teryx will provide grants of up to 5,000 AUD, CAD, GBP, or USD, dependent on your location.
THE FOCUS
The Grant Program aims to share resources with individuals and organizations that centre community in their work. Ideal projects are those that listen deeply to the needs of the community they serve, and work in relationship with those communities to build programs that support access to outdoor spaces and experiences.
We continue to prioritize investing in organizations that are led by people who self-identify as Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour.
ELIGIBILITY
If your organization or project:
- expands opportunity or access to outdoor spaces or activities
- operates within 200km of one of our stores
- is led by the community you serve
- reflects deep understanding of the needs of your community,
- is embedded in principles of Truth & Reconciliation,
- has a strong commitment to Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, and
- is not currently on a multi-year funding plan with Arc’teryx
We invite you to apply!
THE GRANTS
We want to provide lift for the work you lead, and not add barriers to your work to eliminate barriers. These funds are offered without restriction. If you need them to support your operating expenses, great. If you need them to support a specific project, equally great. Our ask is simply that you share how your organization seeks to increase access to outdoor spaces or experiences for the community you intend to serve.
ON CHARITABLE STATUS
The requirement of charitable status can be a barrier to many great projects receiving funding. We remove that barrier and do not require charitable status or not-for-profit status; rather we seek to understand your values and commitment to your mission.
ON APPLICATIONS FROM ORGANIZATIONAL CHAPTERS
To provide fair opportunity to each organization within your community, we ask that you apply for a single grant to a single Arc’teryx community, as listed in the application. If you have chapters in multiple geographic locations, each chapter can submit a single grant application to a single Arc’teryx community.
If this sounds like you or an organization you know, please spread the word or begin the application process by clicking the link below.
In your communities, in the places you know and love, for the people and causes you care deeply about, you are helping to make outdoor activities a welcome outlet for everyone. For that, we celebrate you and the work you are leading. Please reach out communityimpact@arcteryx.com with any questions.
